We have a 2BD on bath apartment in the beautiful museum district (upper fan) in Richmond available for a 6 mo sublease starting December 1st (this can be flexible). It is located between Park and Monument and is right by Banditos, Cafe Diem, 7-11 (with gas), Caliente, Black Hand Coffee shop, Sheppard Street Market and more! The rent is $892.50 (weird we know :) ) with a month's rent security deposit/sublease fee and includes water, sewage, trash. You can keep what would be our return of our paid security deposit at the end of the lease. You would have to pay for electricity and gas. We never set up the gas b/c we don't really cook that much and we bought a hot plate :). We also use a space heater and that keeps us plenty warm! Our electricity bills runs very low b/c we are very good about keeping the lights off and unplugging things not in use so the most we've seen it was around 100 during the hot of the summer when we had the window unit going, but it's typically around 50 now that it's colder. This place is lovely but we're trying to sublease it b/c we were just presented with an offer to move to New Orleans!

The master bedroom is about 15X14 and is directly to the left when you walk in and has french doors that open to the front balcony. The second bedroom is about 13X10 and is on the other side of the apartment off the living room and beside the kitchen. Both bedrooms have closets with large storage cabinets above them. The bathroom is located beside the master bedroom and has a nice tall shower and full tub. The living room is a nice size, about 13X20 with two large windows and a huge fireplace that can actually be used. We haven't yet but I'm pretty sure it only takes those little yule-log things. The kitchen has tall glass cabinets, a fold out table, and plenty of storage space. The place is provided with a refrigerator and stove, and a washer/dryer is on site directly below this apartment. There is a door off the kitchen to the back deck area.

If you are in search of a roommate, perhaps having a place would make finding someone else in need to a roommate a little easier if half of our rent is in your desired range :)

Hi,

I'm moving to Arlington to start a new job next week and will need to sublet my apartment for the remainder of the lease (expires June 2010). It's your typical downtown loft with the living room and kitchen downstairs and the bedroom and bathroom "upstairs". It's a pretty neat place and quiet as there are only 5 apartments on the floor and everyone has brick walls. If you work or play downtown it's a nice location. Rent is 650 a month and includes everything except for electricity (which is usually 50'ish). I'm hoping to move everything out by November 8th, so it's available then to whoever puts in the application and deposite first. There's an application fee of 35 dollars for a credit check and the deposite is equal to one month's rent. If you're interested just shoot me an email and I'd be happy to show it to you. There's not a huge demand for housing this time of year but I'd imagine it'll take about a week to find someone.
