Restored 1800's Mallory Wheeler Brass Door Backplate w/ Keyhole Cover - $100 (Mechanicsville)

We restored this backplate by removing all existing debris/paint, cleaning and polishing.
Made by the Mallory Wheeler Company in the late 1800's. Makers mark on the back with a Pat. date of 1889. Shown with a geometric squiggle back with Asian inspired symbols with two key holes and one with a peek a boo cover.
Measures: 7 7/8" tall by 1 7/8" wide.
