This Victorian globe was used as a hanging lantern. Brass chains went around the top brass crown which lowered and raised the burner unit. This globe has gorgeous coloring throughout and has a subdued striped pattern.

Measurements: 8 1/4" tall x 7" inches in diameter. Excellent condition except for one minor chip at the bottom which is pictured.
