Do you need a gift for your scout? Here's a wonderful brand-new keepsake for your loved one. This is a black front-loading shadow box containing a carefully pinned sheet of Scouting Postage Stamps. In stamp collecting lingo, this is known as the Scott #4472 Scouting postage stamp which was issued on July 27, 2010, at Fort A.P. Hill, VA. This is an entire sheet of 20-44c stamps, which had an initial USPS price of $8.80; Online retailers sell these stamp sheets now for $35.00. This sheet is in mint (unused, uncanceled) condition; it measures 5-5/8" wide by 7" high. The outer dimensions of the shadow box frame are 9-3/4'' wide by 11-3/4" high by 1-3/4 deep; the inner (opening) dimensions are 8" wide by 10" high and an inner depth of 3/4", permitting additional memorabilia to be added to the inside of the shadow box through the convenient front opening, with magnetized closure. Black eggshell finish. The shadow box may be hung on the wall (using the attached hardware) or placed on a shelf, table or desk (just like any picture frame).
