Selling a Vintage 1970 University of Richmond rain poncho. My father used to give the convocation at the annual Tobacco Bowl football game held at City Stadium here in Richmond. This was U of R shwag given out at the Tobacco Bowl game on 10/24/70 between UR and ECU. The rain poncho features "General Spidey" (U of R mascot) on the front and Central National Bank was the corporate sponsor and is shown on the back of the poncho, which measures 33.5 inches long by 49 inches wide. I found this in a box in a closet and it does not appear it was ever worn.

From a non-smoking home, this is a very rare piece of UR history.
