MECHANIC’S SPECIAL! Hey Craigslist, Up for grabs is my clean-title, one-owner 2016 Ford Focus in Black. I bought it brand new in 2016 and have babied it ever since. All service done on time at a local Ford dealership. The good stuff 135,000 easy highway miles, 2.0L 4-cylinder that starts instantly, idles fine, and still has plenty of pep once a new clutch kit is installed.
ICE-COLD A/C (blows polar-vortex cold, perfect for next summer)
Backup camera, Power windows/locks/mirrors, keyless entry
Interior is good, no smoke smell, no pet hair
The bad stuff :
It’s the infamous Ford dual-clutch automatic (DPS6 transmission). The motor runs great, but the vehicle can't be driven without the clutch pack is finally worn out. Needs a new clutch kit and whatever else goes along with it. Its MECHANICS SPECIAL AND IS BEING SOLD AS IS FOR $1,000. Ideal for someone who already has a hookup at a Ford dealer.
I don't owe any money on it, so I will transfer a clean title.
