I purchased this van in 2001 when it had 332,000 miles. It now shows 417,000. It was used as a courier van between Richmond and DC, twice a day. The company that owned it kept it well maintained. Whether or not the engine was ever replaced or rebuilt, I don't know. But I DO know that it runs extremely well, with no smoking, knocking, ticking, etc - even after sitting for a month! Right after I bought it, I had the transmission rebuilt by a friend in the transmission business. Since I was using the van to tow a boat, he beefed up the transmission with better parts, and installed a shift kit and a transmission temp gauge. It is still shifting strong, and seems to be as good as ever. This van is tight, and drives and handles extremely well.
I personally have done all the work on this van, including installing new intake gasket set in 2016, due to OEM problems with the 4.3 Vortec intake gaskets. Recently I have replaced the front rotors, wheel bearings, and calipers. It has new tires, a valid VA inspection sticker. It has a class 3 trailor hitch with a 2" ball.
On the bad side, the white paint is peeling, a lot of primer is showing. The rooftop is mostly rust, but not rusted through.
