Took them out of the box to update to the latest firmware and test a few times, but these really are essentially new. Still have the original boxes etc.
These are really cool radio text-based walkie talkies that operate on the ISM bands and do not require a license to operate at default power level. Install the Meshtastic app (or MeshCore after flashing), connect to the L1 devices over Bluetooth, and text anyone who is within the range of the radio mesh network! Messages can be delivered 3, 5, 7 or sometimes more nodes away.
Built on Nordic nRF52840 MCU, Wio-SX1262 LoRa module, and L76K GNSS satellite positioning/GPS. This type of chip setup is much much more power efficient than the ESP32 chips, and perfect for isolated solar operations or extended outdoor team activities. These are really cool devices for nerdy folks. It's possible to write your own programming or flash custom firmware to do all kinds of things with amateur radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, and other LoRA tracking and data systems.
The MSRP/actual price for the whole lot here was 322$, selling for 260$.
