New, Modern Persian rug was hand knotted in Iran, and has full wool piles on a cotton foundation. This rug is in brand new condition and has knots per square inch in excess of 200. Beautiful colors and made with excellent quality. Nice and soft with a gorgeous design. This rug was acquired from an established rug merchant. Clean and ready to be enjoyed. Recent embargoes by the U.S. against Iranian goods should cause the value of these rugs to increase.
