We've raised Cotton Patch geese for 10+ years. Our breeding flock is mostly Walker line, but we prioritize diverse genetics. Our goslings are easy to sex from day 1 and adults are true to the breed. They are easy keepers and not aggressive. Pictures show some of our adult geese, as well as the clear differences between male/female goslings.
According to the Livestock Conservancy, Cotton Patch geese are: "excellent foragers and breeders should continue to select for this trait. Their smaller size allows them to tolerate hot weather better than heavier geese breeds, and they are very tolerant of hot, humid climates and are easy to keep. Cotton Patch geese are very rare and in need of serious conservation breeders."
