We are seeking a reliable, patient Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support an individual with early-onset dementia in their home and community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful, one‑on‑one care and can provide structure, safety, and companionship.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Community engagement and social activities
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and outings
• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Light shopping and household support
• Monitoring fluid intake and encouraging hydration
• Helping manage and follow a daily routine
• Providing calm, supportive redirection as needed
• Ensuring safety at home and in the community
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be an active PCA (Personal Care Aide)
• Experience with dementia or cognitive decline preferred
• CPR/First Aid (we provide training)
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
• Able to pass background checks (State Police, OIG, CPS/APS)
• Dependable, patient, and comfortable with gentle hands‑on care
• Able to work 8–12 hours weekly (flexible scheduling)
• Ability to lift 25–50 lb【22 and 3/5 kg】s and assist with mobility
**SCHEDULE OPTIONS:**
• Day shift only
• Part‑time and PRN available
• Great for caregivers, CNAs, students, and those seeking meaningful work
**PAY & BENEFITS:**
• $16.50/hr based on experience, credentials, and service type
