Sunset Cove Country Club is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Groundskeeper to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of our club facilities and grounds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors and takes pride in keeping a property in top condition for members and guests.
*Inspect buildings and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly
*Set up and break down spaces for events as needed
* Assist with Pool maintenance
Groundskeeping:
*Maintain landscaping, including mowing, trimming, planting, and seasonal cleanup
*Ensure walkways, parking areas, and outdoor spaces are clean and safe
General Duties:
*Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
*Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
*Assist other departments with operational needs as required
*Support event setup and teardown
Qualifications:
*Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or similar role preferred
*Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work Knowledge of small engine repair Diesel and gas motors
*Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance equipment
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
*Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
*Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Compensation:
Competitive $13.00 to $18.00 hourly wage based on experience
