What You’ll Do
As a Wildlife Control Operator, no two days are the same. You’ll spend your time outdoors solving wildlife problems, meeting homeowners, and making repairs that protect their homes.
Responsibilities include:
• Inspect homes and properties for wildlife activity.
• Set, monitor, and remove traps for nuisance wildlife.
• Perform exclusion work and basic construction repairs to prevent wildlife from re-entering homes.
• Build trust with homeowners and provide excellent customer service.
• Independently contact and schedule customers.
• Work alongside other team members to solve wildlife issues.
• Obtain your Virginia Nuisance Wildlife Permit (paid for by the company).
• Maintain company equipment and vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and interacting with people. Wildlife experience is helpful but not required—we’ll provide the training.
Preferred qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in wildlife, hunting, construction, roofing, pest control, landscaping, or another outdoor trade is a plus.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and traps.
• Physically capable of carrying up to a 32-foot ladder and working on second-story roofs.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
