Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a non-transparent polymer that has high strength and impact
resistance. Butadiene provides the flexibility and impact resistance while the styrene-acrylonitrile
provides the strength, stability and (in some variations) heat resistance. ABS straddles the border
between commodity plastic and engineering grades. It can be tailored over a wide range of applications
and has a broad thermoforming processing window.
