CABINET VISION PROGRAMMER
Job Summary:
. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cabinet Vision Programmer to join our innovative manufacturing team. Arboleda Cabinets, Inc. is one of Richmond’s few Architectural Millwork facilities that is AWI QCP certified. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of design, engineering, and machining processes, driving efficiency and precision across production. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship meets cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate understands architectural drawings, pays close attention to detail, and is ready to grow in a team environment.
Cabinet Vision programming is required for this position. Experience is preferred. If candidate is willing to learn, training will be part of the hiring process.
Job Roles:
· Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs using Cabinet Vision software to produce high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture components
· Read and interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and project specifications.
· Verify drawings with project managers, estimators, field measurements, and shop requirements.
· Follow company drafting standards and produce work that aligns with commercial millwork construction practices.
· Manage drafting assignments while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
· Purchase materials required to complete the project through final punch list.
· Data entry to keep track of materials ordered.
Required Qualifications
· Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required.
· Demonstrated knowledge in commercial millwork, cabinetry, casework, architectural millwork, construction, or a closely related field.
· Proficiency with Cabinet Vision or similar drafting software.
· Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to communicate clearly with project managers, estimators, shop staff, and installers.
Preferred Qualifications
· Understanding of AWI standards and millwork construction methods.
