Greetings! For sale is one of the coolest stringed instruments you’ll ever hear or play: The Charango!
A mysterious instrument that sounds like a mixture of a ukulele with a mandolin and originated somewhere in the mists of the Andes Mountains of South America.
This 10 stringed instrument was handmade in Cochabamba, Bolivia by Gamboa, one of the top Charango makers. They have been making Charangos for many many years and produce only professional level instruments.
The one for sale here has been recently fully restrung with Medina Artigas Charango strings and is playing just beautifully. A strap button has been added for use with a strap to make holding and playing easier.
