Very cool vintage Framus acoustic in great condition — these are often hard to date definitively since the date stamp has a tendency to fade off, but the "72L"stamp is visible in the sound hole on this one dating it to 1972. A very deluxe offering from Framus — beautiful inlays, nice engraving on the tuners, super dark ebony fretboard. More deluxe than some of the other Framus "Jumbo 6" models they made over the years with dot inlays. They had great wood back then! Made in West Germany.
This is a surprisingly good sounding and extremely nice playing acoustic, with the adjustable bridge and bolt-on neck which makes it easy to dial in a great setup. Super comfortable body shape too — the shape is referred to as "jumbo", but it's not any bigger than any other dreadnaught or OM / 000 sized guitar, rather the name refers to how round the curves are. Super comfy! Great neck, great sound, and guaranteed cooler than any other acoustic you're gonna find for $349 in Richmond. Look at that mustache bridge! Comes with a padded gig bag, which has some tears on the outside but will protect this just fine. Guitar has no known issues, was played very lightly over the years and then stored for the last 30 years or so.
