I have a 1979, left hand Martin D35. Other than some nicks and checking that you’d expect with an almost 50 year old guitar, it’s a beautiful instrument. All solid wood—rosewood, spruce, mahogany, and ebony. I have ebony pins in it because I prefer them, but I have the original bone pins too. When I got it, I had to replace the pick guard (they all peel away) and I had a new nut cut. Neck checked out. All work done by 1-3 Guitar in Richmond.
Action is right, neck is smooth, tone is lovely. Why am I selling? If you play, you know — it’s a fantastic guitar, but it didn’t click with me. If it’s not mine, I want it to find the right player.
