Selling my DOD Looking Glass overdrive. This is the highly sought-after collaboration between DOD and SHOE Pedals, and it’s easily one of the most versatile, amp-like drives out there.
If you know this pedal, you know it’s all about touch sensitivity and that "glassy" top end. It uses a Class-A discrete FET design that reacts exactly like a pushed tube amp depending on how hard you pick. It's incredibly transparent but has a totally unique character when you dig into it.
The Feature Set:
Class-A FET Circuit: Gives it that immediate, responsive feel that cleans up perfectly with your guitar's volume knob.
High/Low Gain Switch: Low gain is perfect for an always-on edge-of-breakup sweetener, while High gain pushes into a really articulate, gritty drive that nails that punchy 2000s indie rock sound.
Input Filter: This is the secret weapon. It sits before the drive circuit, allowing you to tame overly bright pickups or tighten up muddy humbuckers before they hit the gain stage.
Pre/Post EQ: You get the pre-drive Input Filter to match your guitar, plus passive Bass and Treble cuts post-drive to perfectly match your amp.
Internal DIP Switches: Can be run as true bypass or buffered depending on where it sits in your signal chain.
This pedal is an absolute dream for stacking. Run it at low gain to add some glassy sparkle and push your second gain stage into serious saturation, or run it after your main drive as an EQ-sculpting boost.
