This amp is in great demand - I just searched Reverb and eBay, and no one has a used head for sale. I found two used heads at Big Box Stores, but they were both asking $849, the same as what new ones are going for! It’s an incredibly versatile, powerful amp – equally at home on a loud stage, an IEM-stage set-up direct to the P.A., or a recording studio. For my small winery trio, a pair of it’s smaller brothers, the Mach 2 in stereo, just works better for me.

The Quilter Aviator Mach 3, a two-channel head, is a marvel of modern engineering, capable of delivering up to a full 200 watts of tube-like power and weighs in at just over 4 pounds. The Mach 3 offers two switchable channels that each cover a wide array of iconic rock amp tones (1957, 1961, 1965, Plexi, Sweet, Top Bst), perfect for genres ranging from rock and blues to country and pop. Designed with the modern musician in mind, the Mach 3 includes professional features like separate mix out volume controls, allowing you to maintain a consistent signal out level while adjusting your speaker volume on stage. The FX Loop, SIG OUT, and HEADPHONE outputs offer flexibility for direct PA system connection, recording, and silent practice. The amp comes with a gig bag and a 6-button footswitch for Channel Selection, Boost, Limiter (a type of compression), Tremolo, Reverb, and FX Loop.
