1879 Grotrian Steinweg Semi Concert grand piano in Brazilian rosewood. 40 serial numbers older than Clara Schumanns Grotrian Steinweg of the same model. 85 keys. Original finish. Restored about 25 years ago. New hammers, pinblock, strings, bridge recap, new keytops, rebushed and refurbished original action. Refinished frame. Extraordinary modern sound. Very powerful. Clean bell like mids and highs, strong tenor and roaring bass. Holds A440hz right on. 2 pedal. Intricate case carvings, ornate music desk and pedal lyre. Keeps up right with modern instruments.
