Inexperienced But Ambitious Rock Guitar Player Available (Chesterfield)

Older but fairly inexperienced guitar player looking to jam with an eye toward improving, maybe even forming or joining a band at some point.
Hard rock (Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, The Warning), classic rock, southern rock, blues rock, and some mainstream (as long as it’s not too pop or bubble gum).
Also, I’m new in town and don’t know where to go to see live bands. Any suggestions appreciated. Preferably rock, and preferably hard. The darker and louder the better. 🤘
