It is currently mounted on my trailer for ease of movement.
This is a 1999 Leer Camper shell that fit Ford Superduty trucks with an eight foot bed. (8')
The outer dimension tapers slightly from the front to the rear.
It also leans forward at the top in comparison to the bottom of the shell.
It has three sliding windows with screens.
It has an interior light that can be hardwired.
Can be mounted with shell clamps or screwed directly to the bed. (mine was screwed down.)
The rear gate struts don't stay up on their own. (clamp to hold open.)
I purchased this new in 1999. It was used on a 1988 F250 for several years and then I built the frame that it sat on for the next twenty years. I parked mowers etc under it.
It has been cleaned etc and is mounted on my trailer so that I can move it as needed.
If you have an old Ford super duty or a truck with an eight foot bed then this is probably your last chance to get an eight foot shell that will fit.
I used this on a 1988 Ford F250. The outside of the shell is tapered (wider at the front than the rear) so it did not match the body lines of the truck exactly. But it did the job and was the biggest shell available at the time.

Some of the wood needs to be replaced.
