The ensuite at our place in Church Hill is open and available starting Jan 3 (private bathroom)!
Hardwood floors, multiple closets. The bedroom portion is about 15' x 10' -- with the bathroom it is about 246 sq ft.
About Us & the House:
I'm a tech founder and work with start-ups and travel a lot but am now mostly in SF -- I've subletted my main bedroom out to someone else but still manage the house remotely. It is a co-ed house. The wonderful humans living there now include a (f) personal trainer, (m) PhD within the school of medicine and their spunky cat, and (m) pursuing dentistry. Pretty easy-going bunch, respectful, and clean. Ideally attempting to create a bit of a small feeling of community.
Nice, quiet area. Walking distance from Chimborazo Dog Park, coffee from Riverbend; food at Alewife (seafood restaurant and bar) and Grisette (American take on the classic French Bouchon). 7 min drive to MCV and 10 min drive to VCU. Plenty of street parking available, I've never had to park more than a block away.
Large (for the city) fenced in backyard with deck and grill. HOWEVER, THE FENCE NEEDS REPAIR. Fully furnished living room, dining room and kitchen areas. Covered front porch. Washer/dryer laundry unit in house. Backyard patio.
There's also a broken down chicken coop hiding in the corner that isn't being utilized? lol
There is also an upside down hot tub in the backyard that unfortunately never got repaired and is on its way out.
Utilities are split equally and not included in the base rent. The base rent is $880/month for the ensuite. Utilities run around $100/month averaged over the year.
Hoping to keep the trend of awesome people. Must be an LGBTQ+ ally (some of us are members and we want our friends to be comfortable here).
Regarding pets, there is already a cat in the house. Any new pets must get along with the existing house cat!
Note: some of the pictures aren't current -- different furniture etc. In particular, the kitchen has a different table now.
