WorldStrides is the largest and most trusted educational student travel company in the country, providing a variety of educational travel programs to all students from elementary age to University level and beyond. We are seeking Sales Assistant candidates who believe in our mission, and who have excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
The Sales Assistant is a 9 to 10 month part time position with peak times of work from August to May with an approximate 4 week winter break, as well as a summer break during the months of June and July. Sales Assistants have the responsibility of making calls and leaving messages for teachers across the country.
At WorldStrides our Sales Assistants are dependable and reliable; possess a positive attitude, good communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. As part of the compensation, Sales Assistants are rewarded with bonuses for achieving weekly call objectives and deadlines.
Sales Assistants report to and work at a local office each day where all of the required tools are provided including computers, telephones and training materials. Training is provided however, basic computer knowledge and the ability to work in a database are required. Telephone sales or customer service experience preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
The Sales Assistant position pays up to $15.00 an hour including base pay and bonuses. There are also additional contests, and seasonal incentives. Schedule is Monday -- Friday 30 hours per week. No nights or weekend work.
