Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to run job sites, oversee crew members, and deliver high-quality work on residential remodeling and new construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled tradesman who takes ownership of their work and leads by example.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a crew on active job sites, ensuring work is completed on time and to company standards
• Perform finish carpentry, framing, trim, and general remodeling tasks at a high level
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Coordinate daily workflow, materials, and subcontractor activities on site
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients
• Identify and resolve field issues as they arise
Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of carpentry/remodeling experience
• Minimum 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong finish carpentry and framing skills
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Own basic hand tools
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to pass a background check and or drug test if requested
